A CELEBRATION OF ALL THE WONDERFUL WOMEN OF VOLUPTUOUS VINTAGE!

Miss Alexa has been with the company since conception and is Mrs Darling’s right hand woman. Together they make the big decisions! She is our Online Sales Manager, Social Media Manager & Senior Copywriter. Epic at putting quirkier outfits together, and is the Queen of quick retorts. She is our original Northern lass hailing from Cumbria, and has appeared as a model on our website wearing size Bette/Clara and her favourite vintage-inspired brands are Onjenu and Palava. Miss Alexa is also an extremely talented milliner and creative director of the couture brand, Titillate The Ocelot. She prefers animals to humans (especially dogs) and her favourite dinosaur is the Deinonychus. She sends the best greeting cards.

Miss Petra is our amazing Boutique Manager at our Alverstoke Branch. She’s been with us since Winter 2015. She adores the femininity of VV and loves an excuse to embrace getting dolled up! Her honesty and eye for detail have earned her much adoration from our regular customers. Her favourite brands are Onjenu and Sixton London and she wears size Bette. Miss Petra is of Czech heritage and loves frequenting boot sales. She has really freaky toes…she can pick up almost any object with them!

Miss Amanda is our extremely talented Brand Management Doll and assists with our marketing strategies. She’s been with us since Winter 2014. When she’s not consulting with us, she is the Director of Laud & Lore (her own brand management & consultancy company) AND she is the Creative Director of Tall Blue Starry. A talented milliner, she feeds creativity and skill into her fabulous company specialising in uniquely crafted headwear and other oddities, some of which you can find right here on our site! Miss Amanda is of Canadian heritage and has also appeared as a model for our website wearing size Dorothy. A romantic, daydreaming ball of incredible, Miss Amanda has taken us on some of the best adventures so far!

Miss Laura is a Style Consultant in the Alverstoke boutique and has been with us at weekends since 2017. She's a Southern gal and wears a size Audrey. She’s a huge fan of dogs, (of course) make-up, and a good musical. Outside the boutique she’s a fantastic dancer, currently attending a prestigious dance school for her further education - so it’s no wonder she’s so elegant and poised. Her favourite vintage inspired brands are Jolie Moi and Pretty Retro, and she’s also a bit in love with Bill Skinner Jewellery.

Miss Gill is one of our models and occasionally assists in Head Office, she has been with us since Winter 2014. She loves the VV style and has adopted it into her daily life and is stopped regularly on the streets by people wanting to know where she gets her fabulous outfits! She has also modelled for the website, being one of our more voluptuous ladies at a size Hedy at the time, and is now a size Dorothy. Her favourite vintage-inspired brands are Miss Candyfloss and Palava. Miss Gill is of Scottish heritage, has a BSc in Nursing and now works as a Nurse – where her dark and phenomenal sense of humour keeps her going. She reads endlessly and has an unhealthly obsession with body noises.

Oh, and Mrs Darling wears a size Grace and is of course, Scottish. She likes all the brands, (she did handpick them after all!), but her first love is Authentic Vintage. Her top faves of the inspired lines are Retrospec'd, and Emmy for their quality and authenticity, Yoshi for bags and Charlie Stone for shoes. She likes pretty old fans, tissue paper and good manners and has a pathological fear of bellybuttons.

Miss Alison is a gorgeous yummy mummy of Alverstoke, having jumped at the chance to try modelling for the first time and was entirely different from her usual day to day! Her daughter and Mrs D's son were firm friends through infant school. Miss Alison wears VV size Audrey, she speaks fluent French and is a keen baker.

Miss Amelia answered a call out for vintage style enthusiasts for a modelling shoot, and she definitely suits the look! A vintage afficiando, Miss Amelia breathes vintage throughout her life from her style to her cars! She wears VV size Hedy.

Miss Barbara is a big VV Fan and customer and we love her enthusiasm and her incredible style. We asked her to model in a few shoots as we wanted all women to feel represented of all ages and sizes, and we think Miss Barbara is a shining example of how you can wear whatever you want, whatever your age! She is a South Coast Sweetheart through and through and particularly loves full skirt dresses or anything glamourous! She wears VV size Clara.

Miss Darcey used to run the tearoom that is in the village next to our boutique and was a regular customer so it was a no-brainer to have her on the shoots and she did several with us. She wears VV size Faye and particularly enjoys 80s fashion and gatsby beaded dresses.

Miss Emily was one of our first VV boutique customers purchasing both her wedding dress and maid of honour dress with us! We got to know Emily quite well, and her son ended up good friends with Mrs D's son. She wears VV size Esther and was a pleasure to have on the shoot as our busty bombshell!

Miss Fern was our very first Saturday girl way back in 2014-2015 and impressed Mrs D with a handwritten letter asking for an opportunity and outlining her passion for fashion. We convinced Fern to model for us on our very first shoot and she was such a natural she went on to model for huge designer names and appeared in Vogue and other high gloss fashion publications. At time of modelling Miss Fern wore VV Size Audrey, and she particularly loved the Authentic Vintage collections.

Miss Lisbet is a very dear long term friend of both Mrs D and Miss Alexa, and loves everything feminine. An accomplish author and advocate of growing old disgracefully, she is definitely part of our tribe! Miss Lisbet wears VV size Audrey.

Miss Mollie is the daughter of a friend who very kindly came to model some of the very small sizes in our original vintage. Of Filipino heritage, Miss Mollie's petite frame is VV size Zelda and perfect for showing off the details in these gorgeous pieces. She was very nervous in front of the camera, not that you can tell from her fantastic results!

Miss Pearl answered a call out we made for vintage loving gals to model and whilst this was her first modelling experience, it certainly wasn't her last. She's gone on to model for vintage pin-up magazines and big repro brands. She wears VV size Dorothy and is also an incredibly talented vintage hair and make-up artist and runs Pearl's Pin-Up Parlour. Miss Pearl and Mrs Darling very quickly became firm friends and enjoy collaborating together whenever possible.

Miss Phillipa was one of Mrs D's ballet teachers when she lived in the South and was very excited to be part of our second shoot for the website. One of the senior teachers at Alverstoke School Of Dance, she taught Miss Laura too and is busy inspiring the next generation of dancers! She wears VV size Audrey.

Miss Pippa was a film student who worked with Mrs Darling on a film production prior to VV opening and was asked to model for the very first shoot. Wearing VV size Bette, she is tall in stature and a LOT of fun. Miss Pippa is a natural in front of the camera as much as she is behind it!

Miss Ruby was one of the first Style Consultants in the boutique when we opened and naturally, was a perfect poster girl for VV so we simply HAD to have her model for us. Of Italian heritage, she wears VV size Hedy, and has a rather enviable hourglass figure! Fun fact - Miss Ruby is also a burlesque performer who specialises in fire walking and fire eating!

Miss Ruth also answered our call out for vintage models and came along to our shoot as both a model and a vintage hair and make up artist. Since then, Ruth has become a very dear friend of Mrs D having connected over their world views, combined wisdom and empathy. She is possibly the only person we know who has as many balls in the air as Mrs D! Miss Ruth owns salon Glamour Works, specialising in hair extensions and hair loss treatments. In addition, a playpark business Jumping Jax, she is a busy mum of 3 boys and horses, volunteers for veterans AND has a successful business consultancy service. Phew!

Miss Ruth is our pocket rocket of fun! A customer who has since become a dear friends, rarely have we met anyone with such a joyful spirit and full of whimsy and delight. She truly is a shining light to be around. She is a lifestyle vintage fan and dresses in authentic and repro every day, enjoying the mod look and 50s vibes most. Miss Ruth wears VV size Bette and is obsessed with Vendula handbags!

Miss Sam was a Style Consultant in the Alverstoke boutique until 2022, but we still see her about and you'll still see her videos and pics across our site and socials. She wears a size Grace, and loves all things 40s & 50s, and embraces the style and look wholeheartedly. Another Northern lass, she loves Pretty Retro and Retrospec'd. Her other passion is sewing & she makes her own vintage inspired clothes. Fun fact: Miss Sam can’t whistle!!!

Miss Tanya is a good friend of Mrs D, having met at ballet class in 2013 and hitting it off. Tanya is a creative and likes to sew, embroider, quilt, crochet and anything else she can turn her hand to. She wears VV size Esther and particularly loves Jolie Moi and Onjenu maxi dresses.

Miss Tanya met Mrs D at college when they both undertook their hairdressing qualifications on the same course. When we needed VV size Esther for this shoot, she jumped right in, despite it being out of her comfort zone as she's def more of a jeans and trainers gal!

Miss Victoria is another Alverstoke beauty, who has a busy career managing first class cabins on international aircrafts. Another absolute natural in front of the camera, Miss Victoria really enjoyed exploring so many original vintage fashions and wears VV Size Bette.
