1980s Red Plisse Pleat Shadow Strip Cocktail Dress

Tailored in an almost ethereal silhouette, this tomato-red and slightly sheer garment from the late 70s-early 80s emanates a glamorous atmosphere.

Subtly striped with a shadow stripe, the piece features a shaped plisse pleated bodice and skirt, while the long sleeve is a bit more diaphanous.

Further detailed with a rolled hem, cuff band, and button on the sleeve that is trimmed with a slim ruffle, the revere collar is supplemented by two red pearlescent buttons at the bust, with the ruffle trim echoed around the back.

The waist is artfully elasticated with an original belt and loops, bestowing a lightweight feel with plenty of movement for a night of dancing.

Condition
Very Good-Excellent condition, we found a couple of very minor pulls but have repaired all of them so she presents in excellent condition as a result.
