The Upside to Shopping In-store in an Online World
Posted by Miss Chloe on
For those among us who love shopping, it isn’t just about picking up something you like and taking it home with you. It’s about feeling different fabrics on your skin, their drape, the texture of their weave, their intricate beading and embroidery, the way they flow with your movement. It’s about the smell of new shoes fresh out of the box, artisan perfumes, and freshly poured tea. It’s about the uplifting conversations you’ll have which go beyond polite chit-chat. That’s why, for me, the boutique experience can’t be beaten. I never just leave with a piece of vintage fashion that...

Posted by Mrs Darling on

It’s not a gimmick or a fanciful novelty though (we do like to think it’s special, however!) and, whilst we try to provide as much sizing info as we can on both the product pages and our sizing guide, we thought we’d write a little about our sizing with a hopefully useful “at a glance” sizing that might give you more of an idea if you don’t have a tape measure handy! As we say on the Sizing Page: it’s always a...
Lua – luxurious silk velvet, with a heart!
Posted by Jennifer Darling on
We felt it was only right, for International Women’s Day, to introduce our luscious accessory brand, Lua! With the majority made from luxurious silk-velvet, and in the most eye-catching colours, we adore these little bags and purses for their versatility as well as their suitability for gifting. Lua work very closely with a local small business in Vietnam that they formed ties with 17 years ago, having noticed the quality and vibrancy of items being sold whilst the founders were holidaying there. Most of the items are designed in the UK and then made in Vietnam, paying the suppliers a...
