This ultra-unique formal set from British brand, Harella, dates from the late 1960s.
A fitted blazer with smooth, curved edges and a rounded lapel is present, accompanied by long sleeves with a turn up cuff. The blazer is unlined, yet elegantly tailored and concluded with four magnificent spherical crystal buttons. Furthermore, the skirt is fully-lined, secured with a lapped zipper and hook & bar closure. Its embossed and textured fabric generates an almost quilted look, providing subtle luxury and depth. Ideal for the person who balks at the thought of traditional gowns and robes but still requires formalwear.

Note Of Interest

Harella began in 1919 as the small business of an independent tailor called Harris and over time expanded to become a huge British manufacturer and exporter of ladies clothing in the mid-late 1960s. Most notably, Lew Harris initiated the trend for a larger size range amongst ladies ready-to-wear fashions. Hurrah for Mr Harris!
