Circa 1930s

I wish you could touch this gorgeous piece: the elegance and luxury of this heavy Japanese silk is incredible. Equally at home on the runway or as outrageously indulgent lounge wear, this kimono jacket dates from the 1930s, but she's completely timeless. The kimono has been traditionally constructed, and the colours of the bold Aztec-inspired art nouveau print are as glorious as ever. The back bodice and sleeves are also lined in contrast cream silk fabric with pink japanese maple leaves.
