1980s Does 1950s Bubblegum Pink Cocktail Party Dress
A delightfully darling piece from British designer Peter Ellis, this 1980s cocktail dress has a charming 50s influence and is a real treat. Featuring a bubblegum pink chiffon, the bodice boasts voluminous diagonal pleating, a sweetheart neckline, and double spaghetti straps. The skirt flares with fabulously ethereal drape, and the light chiffon is finished with a rolled hem for a touch of bounce. Fully lined with a back lapped zip and a hook and eye fastening, this darling dress accommodates a petticoat for the discerning dancer. The signature element? A captivating coordinating belt embellished with a transparent acrylic circle buckle and inset high-quality rhinestones —if Barbie were a dress, this would be it!
