1940s Lily of the Valley Print Korell Shirtwaister Dress
This glorious 1940s dress has a delicate Lily Of the Valley print and is a really rare plus size example of this style.
She has a button-through front fastening with 12 darling buttons made of early amber plastic with rhinestone centres and 2 co-ordinating buttons on the lapels. There is a stunning little overlap detail on the back of the collar which is such a couture finish, and a turnback housewife cuff on the sleeve.
This dreamboat is fairly sheer and unlined, so you may wish to wear a slip underneath.
It is made from a super soft cotton blend lawn
Condition
Great vintage condition, there is some very light fading to the underarm area which is normal for this age of dress, the fabric is strong and undamaged.
