1930s Fire Glass Bicone Long Flapper Necklace

This breathtaking early 1930s piece pays tribute to Edwardian style with an exquisite display of radiant glass. A cascade of small opalescent beads, graduated bicone amber glass with red centerpieces, and amber half cone glass beads are interspersed on a delicate chain of hand-forged brass links, secured with two loops of brass.
The light it reflects is truly captivating, resembling a blaze of fire.
Some of the opal beads had a pearl patina in the past, but the piece looks much more dazzling without it. Very few signs of wear, only the tiniest nibbles on the glass that are appropriate to its age.
