A precious, highly sought-after Horrockses ensemble, including a voluminous full circle sun dress and a coordinating jacket.

Crafted with soft cotton in a stunning shade of violet blue with white abstract floral patterns, this set defines perfection.
An exquisite neckline featuring white piping trim lines the bodice and edges of the jacket. The cropped jacket is secured with three polished plastic buttons down the centre. Including a sweetheart neckline and boning in the bodice, the sleeveless dress also boasts wide straps and a splendid full circle skirt that can be dressed up with a full petticoat or left airy and light. Our mannequin shows the fullness with a large wide petticoat underneath, and our model provides the view without any petticoat. An exquisite glimpse of this divine ensemble!

Condition
In good-reasonable vintage condition. There have been two repairs on the dress - areas under each arm have been darned to a good standard and another area under the left arm sleeve of the jacket.  Details are in photos. It does have its original belt, but there is some discolouration as is common with items this age as the belt wouldn't have been washed as frequently as the dress, if at all. The rest of the set is in good order. The boning is strong and the cotton is still even in colour and bright.
