1980s Does 1950s Rimini Tropical Check Organza Party Dress

A jaw-dropping designer dress from vintage label Rimini, circa 1988 yet reminiscent of 50s styles. Showcasing a shirtwaister button-front with a timeless revere collar, and opulent crystal buttons providing a modern spark of the 80s.

The organza overlay flaunts a luscious tropical check pattern of orange, yellow, and hot pink with a hint of glitter. The hot pink satin lining offers discreet coverage beneath the sheer fabric. The long sleeves end in cuffs, each with two further crystal buttons. The full and flowy skirt with a rolled hem floats around the knees with remarkable poise. This dress is a smidge shorter than its 1950s counterparts yet brims with 80s dynamism—playful, flirty, vivacious, and undeniably showstopping.
