Classic Jacqmar of London Scarf circa 1968-1973. Grey base with a wine paisley and mod print. Perfect as a headscarf, neckerchief or tying on your handbag.

Jacqmar are a renowned British brand established in 1932 in fabrics - mostly fine silks - and gained attention for creating controversial propaganda patriotic print scarves during the war.

Post-war they decided to specialise in scarves amidst the shortages, and created them from off-cuts. One the first "waste-not" sustainable brands, which is one of the reasons I adore them so much.  They have become a very iconic and collectable brand, and their scarves have been produced in so many fabrics from silks to polyester, in some super prints!
